How the process works

From your first few minutes to the outcome, including what happens when a business still won't put things right.

You tell us what happened

About five minutes, and you don't need any documents to start. We ask what the work was, who did it, and roughly what you're owed.

Get startedTwo questions, and we will tell you where you stand.

Why not just chase it yourself?

Nothing stops you. What changes is who the business thinks it is dealing with.

  • A documented claim

Contract, payments, photographs and correspondence, put together so the business has to answer the facts rather than answer you.

  • Sent to somebody who can decide

In writing, to a person with the authority to resolve it, with a specific remedy attached.

  • Pressure that doesn’t stop

We keep going past the point most people give up, because it is our work rather than your evening.

  • A straight answer on lawyers

If your situation needs an attorney we say so and introduce you to one, taking nothing for the introduction.

Our review

Every advocacy file is reviewed before we take it on

We look at what you were promised, what you got, and what you can evidence.

If we don’t think we can help, we say so, and we tell you what else you could do about it.

Where our work stops, and who picks it up

  • We don't give legal advice. Satisfy is not a law firm and nothing we send you is a legal opinion. What you get is the record, assembled and dated, and a straight account of where you stand.
  • We don't represent you in court. If your situation needs litigation, we'll tell you and connect you with a law firm, taking nothing for the introduction.
  • We don't guarantee a recovery. Anyone who does is telling you something they can't know.

What it costs, briefly

Finding out where you stand is free. When we take your advocacy file on, there is an engagement cost, which covers the real work of building your file and starting advocacy1.

After that, there is nothing else to pay

The engagement cost is the only money you ever pay us. That holds however your file turns out, including when the right answer is referring you to a law firm.

Want the background rather than the process? What financial redress is, and why this service exists.

Ready to see how we can help?

Tell us what happened and we will tell you where you stand.

Disclosures

  1. 1.Engagement costs vary by state, by the kind of work involved, and by the value of the advocacy file. The exact figure for your situation is disclosed in your portal and in the consumer service agreement, after we review your advocacy file and before you sign or pay anything. The engagement cost is not refundable, because it covers work already done.
